How to Use Tiny Psalms

Tiny Psalms creates a personalized audio bedtime story in three steps: add your child's name and age, choose what they need tonight (peace, courage, sleep without fear, gratitude and more), and optionally add a note about what's on their heart — then the app narrates a calm, Christ-centered story that names your child, gently answers the moment, and ends with a whispered prayer and three scripture promises. Your first personalized story is free; the screen goes dark while it plays.

Step 1 — Tell it who's listening

Add your child's name and age (3–12). The age tunes everything: a story for a four-year-old is shorter, simpler, and more repetitive; a story for a ten-year-old takes their worries more seriously and reads less like a picture book. Step 2 — Choose what they need tonight

Eight bedtime themes cover most nights: Peace, Courage, Sleep without fear, Gratitude, Jesus is with me, Adventure, School worries, and Forgiveness. Then — this is the part parents love — you can add a sentence about the actual moment: “Oscar starts kindergarten tomorrow and is nervous.” The story that comes back won't repeat your words clinically; it translates them into something gentle a child can hear (“goodbyes can feel hard sometimes”), inside a story where God's nearness answers the feeling.

Step 3 — Lights out, phone face-down

The story arrives narrated in a warm, unhurried voice as one continuous bedtime track: the story itself (four to six short, sleepy paragraphs), a whispered closing prayer with your child's name in it, then three short scripture promises — each grounded in a real Bible reference, like “God stays with me at school” from Joshua 1:9 — and a final gentle reflection question. It's audio-first on purpose: the screen goes dark, the phone goes face-down, and your child just listens. Stories are narrated in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, or Italian, matching your app language.

Every story is saved

Finished stories live in the Library under each child's name, with favorites — because a story about the night before the first day of school gets requested again, sometimes for months. Replaying a saved story is always free and always identical: same words, same voice, which is exactly what a child who loved it wants.

How stories are made — and kept safe

Stories are written fresh each night with the help of carefully instructed artificial intelligence, and a parent consents in-app before the first story is created. The guardrails are strict and built in: no invented Bible verses (every reference is real), no frightening imagery, no shame, and a picture of God that is near, comforting, and never punitive. Your child's name and your note are used to create that night's story and are not shared with third parties for advertising — no ads, no tracking of children.
